Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the activities of Rospatent, the WIPO International Bureau, and postal systems worldwide, Rospatent acting as the International Searching Authority (ISA / RU) and the International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA / RU), starting at 30 March 2020, changed the procedure for sending applicants notifications, international search reports, written communications and international preliminary examination reports on PCT applications.
Applicants can obtain full information on procedures on international applications, including a review of the international search report and the written message ISA / RU using the service of the WIPO e PCT International Bureau. Applicants who are not yet using the e PCT service are advised to create an appropriate account. Details about this service can be found at: https://pct.wipo.int/ePCTExtemal/pages/landing.xhtml. Applicants will receive notifications of an informational nature from ISA / RU by e-mail if its address is indicated in the application for the international application.
Applicants who did not provide an email address in the application for an international application can do this by submitting information to the International Bureau in accordance with the recommendations indicated at https://www.wipo.int/pct/en/news/2020/news_0008 .html If necessary, applicants can send a message to ISA / RU at pct-peo@rupto.ru.
