On September 21-25, 2020, the sixty-first series of meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO took place at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Amid the constraints associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Assemblies are organized in a hybrid format.
A number of issues were considered at the Assembly and reports were heard on the work carried out for the development and implementation of projects in the field of intellectual property around the world.
The newly elected Director General of WIPO, Mr. Daren Tan, will officially take office on October 1, 2020.
