State Institution “National center for patents and information” of the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to implement the creative goals of the Government, wise policy and consistent steps of the Founder of peace and national unity – Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Exellency Emomali Rahmon for involvement of young people in innovation and invention, as well as raising their awareness of the concept and essence of innovation and information in the field conducted a series of training seminars for students, teachers, post-graduates and aspirants of higher education institutions of Khatlon region.
Seminars were held from 9 to 10 June 2021 at Bactria State University named after Nosiri Khusrav, Tajik Energy Institute under the “Fundamentals of intellectual property”.
Specialists of the Institution for participants on “The essence of intellectual property and its objects”, “Copyright and related rights”, “Invention – the concept and its essence”, “Industrial design – the concept, essence and economic aspects”, “The essence of trademarks. trademarks and service marks», «International trademark registration system (Madrid system)», «Discovery – innovation proposal – invention – innovation: their differences and integration» and «How to prepare and submit an application for a title of protection »(Section) runos presented data.
One of the positive results of the workshops was the activity of the participants in asking the necessary questions and discussions.
Participants’ questions and suggestions were mostly related to the procedure for a title of protection for inventions, patent searches, processes or the possibility of registering computer programs (as an information resource) and, in turn, were answered in detail by experts.
The proposals of the participants included the intensification of the process of registration of computer programs, the creation of conditions for electronic submission of applications for patents for inventions and other security documents for industrial property, as well as more seminars and consultations.
