On June 14 of this year in the hall of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the management of the Patent Office, the representative of the Agency for State Financial Control and the Struggle against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan – Major of Justice Nurmuhammad Akbarzoda and employees to implement the action plans to assess and eliminate corruption risks related to the activities of the Patent Office, an explanatory event was held.
The event was opened by the First Deputy Director of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Shavkat Valizoda and gave the speech to the representative of the Agency – Major of Justice Nurmuhammad Akbarzoda.
Nurmuhammad Akbarzoda, in his speech, commented on the circumstances that lead to corruption, the mechanism for detecting corruption, actions that lead to corruption crimes, as well as other aspects of preventing corruption cases. He also noted that the corruption is one of the most dangerous phenomena in society and is recognized throughout the world as a serious crime and one of the factors hindering the development of socio-economic stability.
It should be noted that the main purpose of this meeting is to increase the anti-corruption ideology and legal awareness of the society, mainly employees of the Patent Office in the prevention of corruption offenses, ensuring the implementation of state programs and anti-corruption laws.
