On 27-28 of June, 2022, the President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) Mr. Grigory Ivliev paid an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the visit, G.Ivliev  met with the First Deputy Prime Minister Mr.Davlatali Said, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Mr.Farhod Rakhimi and the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Мr.Ashurboy Solehzoda.

On June 28, 2022, at the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, a joint meeting of the Director of the Patent Office Mr. M.Ismoilzoda and employees with the President of the EAPO Mr.Grigory Ivliev was held.

During the ceremony, a joint meeting of the management and staff of the Patent Office with the official delegation of the Eurasian Patent Office under the leadership of Grigory Ivliev discussed issues of strengthening ties in key areas of bilateral cooperation. The two sides also sides also exchanged views in detail  on important issues of the international and regional agenda, as well as the development of the industrial property, taking into account the influence of external factors.

Ismoilzoda Mirzo expressed his gratitude for the visit of Grigory Ivliev to the Patent Office and expressed his opinion on the mutually beneficial cooperation.

In turn, the President of the EAPO Grigory Ivliev thanked the Director of the Patent Office Mirzo Ismoilzoda for the invitation to visit the Office, as well as the warm welcome and assured that today’s meeting will give a serious impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

As part of the event, Grigory Ivliev was awarded by M.Ismoilzoda for his meritorious services in the development of the field and the expansion of effective mutual cooperation with the “Nishoni Fakhri” (Honorary Medal) of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Also, during the event, the Tajik inventor Bobokalonov Dilovar Ozarovich who won the first place at the Eurasian Patent Universiade in the nomination “Invention for health: Solutions for health protection and healthy lifestyle” was awarded with a gold medal and a prize from the President of the Eurasian Patent Office.
