On September 29, 2022, the 26th International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Intellectual Property as the Basic Condition for Ensuring the Technological Independence of the Russian Federation” was held in a hybrid format at the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (Rospatent).
This event from the Republic of Tajikistan was attended by the Director of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade – Mirzo Ismoilzoda, Leading Specialist-Expert of the Department of State Examination of Inventions and Industrial Designs – M. Shonazarova and specialist of the International Department and Information – N. Karimova via videoconference.
Ismoilzoda in his speech firstly congratulated the head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (Rospatent) Yuri Sergeevich Zubov on the 67th anniversary of the establishment of Rospatent and wished him success in fulfilling his duties for the development in the field of intellectual property.
Director of the Office also spoke about the current situation of intellectual property in the Republic of Tajikistan and noted that under the wise policy and constant attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His excellency Emomali Rahmon, intellectual property is developing step by step, and in this regard, there were a number of state programs have been adopted and are being implemented, in particular the National Strategy for the Development of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.
At the end, M. Ismoilzoda expressed his satisfaction with bilateral cooperation with Rospatent and expressed readiness to further strengthen and expand relations.
