Today, the head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (Rospatent) Yury Zubov Sergeevich paid an official visit to the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan (Patent Office) and held bilateral negotiations with the Director of the Patent Office Mirzo Ismoilzoda Khaidarbek.
During the meeting, issues of strengthening relations in topical areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed. The parties exchanged views on important issues in the field of intellectual property.
Issues related to the digitalization of the activities of the patent offices, the exchange of information, the training of specialists in the field of intellectual property, the conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding between Patent Offices, as well as other issues of bilateral cooperation were also discussed.
At the same time, Y. Zubov visited the departments of examination of industrial property objects and the State Patent and Technical Library of the Office.
A meeting was also held with the heads of structural divisions of the Patent Office, where it was noted that cooperation is taking place in a friendly atmosphere and the plans are being implemented.
Director of the Patent Office Mirzo Ismoilzoda expressed his gratitude for the visit of Yury Zubov to the Office and noted that today’s meeting would give a serious impetus to the process of developing overall stability in bilateral relations.
