Every year on January 17, Children’s Invention Day is celebrated all over the world. It is established not only to honor young geniuses, but also aims to encourage children to be curious about the world around them and apply creativity in solving life’s problems.
The date was not chosen by chance, but because the statesman, diplomat, scientist, inventor, journalist Benjamin Franklin was born on this day. Ben Franklin invented his first invention, a pair of swimming fins that were worn on the hands, at the age of 12. In the future, he continued his scientific research and, having carried out many experiments, made an invaluable contribution to world science.
It should be noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, our Republic hosts an annual contest-festival “Innovators and young inventors” under the slogan “Youth is the engine of innovation”.
On this significant day, the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan congratulates all young and talented inventors of the country and wishes them creative success.
