Bilateral meetings of the Director of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” with the heads of patent offices of foreign countries and the signing of bilateral documents on cooperation within the framework of the 64th session of the Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
At the 64th session of the Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the director of the institution, Ismoilzod Mirzo, met with the Director General of WIPO and wiht a number of heads of patent offices of foreign countries, including the Republic of Turkey, Belarus and India, to discuss issues of strengthening and expanding cooperation in the field of science and innovation, invention and innovation, as well as other important issues in the field of intellectual property.
During the Assembly, the signing ceremony of the Agreement between the State Institution “National center for Patents and Information ” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Intellectual Property Organization on services related to the creation and development of technology and innovation support centers and the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
A Memorandum was signed between the State Institution “National Center Patents and Information ” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Institution “National Center for Intellectual Property” of the Republic of Belarus, and with the Patent and Trademark Office of Turkey.
At the same time, a bilateral meeting was held and a cooperation plan between the Institution and the Promotion Department of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of India was discussed.
It should be noted that the 64th session of the Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization was held in the city of Geneva, the Swiss Confederation, from 6 to 14 July this year.
