On August 23 of this year, a solemn meeting was held at the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan (Patent Office) with the participation of inventors and innovators, as well as employees of the Patent Office dedicated to the Day of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The director of the Patent Office Mirzo Ismoilzoda on the occasion of this important day congratulated inventors, responsible persons in the field of invention and those who make a worthy contribution to creativity and represent the Republic of Tajikistan in the international arena with their intellectual results.

It was also noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan directs one of the directions of the country’s economic development policy to the field of intellectual property and provides support and legal protection for the creative results of inventors, innovators and other creative individuals in the country and abroad.

In order to fulfill the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Patent Office carries out relevant activities, including the organization of training courses and the clarification of intellectual property, competitions, the introduction of inventions into production and commercialization of the industry.

Within the framework of this meeting, the achievements of the country’s women inventors were presented, which were highly appreciated at the International Exhibition of Women Inventors “KIWIE-2023” in South Korea (July 21-22, 2023) and the International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations “INTARG-2023” in Republic of Poland (May 24-25, 2023).

We are proud that today the achievements of our inventors are recognized in the international arena and awarded the highest awards.

At the 16th International Exhibition of Women Inventors “KIWIE-2023”, the following inventors were awarded:

– two gold medals, one silver medal and a special award of the State of Indonesia were awarded to Munfiza Sayfutdinova for the invention “Wound healing ointment Chitinidazole Forte”, “Method of treatment of complications after radiation skin cancer” and “Method of radiation treatment of skin cancer after a sandal burn”;

– Rukhshona Alovidinzoda was awarded gold and silver medals for the invention “Method for producing 1-chloro-3-glycylglycylpropan-2-ol” and “1,5-diphenyl-3,7-dimethyleneperhydrooxine with antibacterial activity”;

– the gold medal was awarded to Omina Khalikova for the invention “Substance with hepatoprotective, choleretic and antioxidant properties”;

– a gold medal was awarded to Mijgoni Sorbon for the invention “Anti-inflammatory drug of the gastrointestinal tract”;

– a silver medal was awarded to Zarrina Khodjaeva for the invention of “Turnezarin, a substance with antimicrobial action.”

The following inventors were awarded at the INTARG 2023 International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations:

Savribegim Yormamadova – teacher of the Tajik National University, Mukadas Kurbonova – candidate of chemical sciences of the Tajik National University and Mutabar Zoidova – candidate of chemical sciences of the Institute of Chemistry named after V.I. Nikitin of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan were awarded silver medals.

It should be noted that from 2012 to the present day, 57 women inventors of the country have won 27 gold medals, including 2 gold medals of the World Intellectual Property Organization, 28 silver and 17 bronze medals, presenting 66 inventions at international competitions.

Оf all the material and natural resources abundant in our Motherland, the most priceless and important is the intellectual potential of our society
