On March 19 of this year, a ceremonial meeting and cultural event dedicated to the International holiday of Navruz was held at the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the management and employees of the Patent Office.
The event began with an opening speech of the Director of the Office Mirzo Ismoilzoda and congratulated all employees on our oldest and greatest National holiday – Navruz, the holiday of spring and the revival of nature.
He noted that Navruz is one of the greatest and most beloved holidays of Tajiks, which has come down to us from the depths of centuries as a valuable legacy of our noble ancestors. Reliable sources indicate that the celebration of Navruz was based on deep and broad ideas and worldviews that have become the reason for preserving the identity and existence of our people, our rites, customs and national traditions to this day.
Afterwards, according to the event program, in the square of the building of the Office with the wide participation of Office’s employees, according to tradition, various national and sports events were held, such as cooking sumanak, running, performing national dances and songs, reading poetry praising Navruz and other events.
At the end, the winners and prize-winners of the sporting events were awarded certificates.
