On June 17, 2025, the second meeting of the heads of patent offices of Central Asian countries and China was held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by delegations from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, the People’s Republic of China, as well as a representative of the World Intellectual Property Organization in person and remotely.

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the Director of the State Institution “National Center for Patents and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Mirzo Ismoilzoda, took part in this event in person.

At this event, M. Ismoilzoda spoke about the current situation of intellectual property in the country and the strengthening of partnerships within Central Asia and China assessing this initiative as important and timely for the development of intellectual property in the region.
