The Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe City announces a competition for the Dushanbe City Chairman’s Award for Young Researchers.
This initiative aims to recognize the outstanding contributions of young researchers, provide support and encouragement, enhance creative talent, and develop scientific potential in the fields of exact sciences, literature, journalism, art, architecture, technology, innovation, and invention.
Competition Categories and Requirements:
- Exact Sciences – impactful scientific and creative activity in the development of natural, exact, and mathematical sciences;
- Literature – authorship of scientific, fiction, and literary books, poetry, and other literary works;
- Journalism – preparation and publication of articles, information materials, television and radio programs, and news reports (priority is given to works focused on the implementation of state youth policy);
- Art – singing, dancing, design, performing arts, educational paintings, portraits, landscapes, ornaments, etc.;
- Architecture – presentation of construction projects for cultural and recreational parks, youth centers, fountains, sports grounds, and other facilities suitable for the urban environment of Dushanbe;
- Technology and Engineering – improvement of equipment and machinery, building structures, and facilities; energy saving and renewable energy sources; increasing production efficiency; production of import-substituting goods; programming, information and computer technologies, and invention (priority is given to projects creating information databases, particularly in the youth sector);
- Innovation and Invention – implementation of innovative developments for human capital and infrastructure development; realization of the country’s four strategic goals; poverty reduction; ensuring human safety and environmental protection; introduction of new teaching methods and scientific research; use of modern materials and information technologies.
Required Documents for Submission:
Applicants must submit the following:
- Personal data sheet, copy of passport, copies of educational credentials, and a curriculum vitae (CV) (2 copies each);
- Reference letter (character certificate) regarding the applicant’s creative and social activities (2 copies);
- Four (4) photographs (3×4 cm);
- A formal resolution/letter from the institution where the applicant studies or works;
- A list of scientific or creative works;
- A portfolio or collection of materials related to the submitted work.
